With beautiful beaches to the south, extensive jungle to the north and friendly people all around, it’s not hard to fall in love with this country. Not to mention, money goes a long way, home of the $1 dorms. Making it a haven for backpackers and travellers wanting to get the most out of their money.
Although Cambodia is still recovering from the genocide during the late 1970’s. If you do visit Phnom Penh make sure to visit the Tuol Sleng (21) Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields. As no visit to Cambodia is complete without understanding their dark past.
